Just reading that makes me wax and boil real hot. Islam should be banned from America and I mean it.

1500 years ago a single man claimed truth with no witness, one human being. He was told by this angel that he would be healed by God after becoming sick, but instead he was sent to the grave for giving false witness. After he gave false witness he become sick and died. Its over.

Paul had to say this twice' that is how important it is.
Galatians 1King James Version

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Banning a faith will not stop it.ban books.so this means I can't debunk islam because it's illegal to have a quran.

Yeah, it says its from 12 hours ago, but I found a snopes article about the same insident that happened back in 2014.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/laplata.asp

I knew there was more to the story, the article shows the assignment and explains further. I think that the assignment should have used a different term, but I also know that Fox is doing what every media hub does, over blow a story and use hyperbole to get people's attention.

The Father was banned from school premises after making a scene and inflammatory statements and I guess the lawsuit he has been cooking up is finally been filed. As I already stated the assignment should have probably used a different phrase. No one was forced to convert, just a parent not wanting their kid to learn about Islam or say. write the Islamic prayer. Yay Hyperbole.

Things like this are a big part of the reason homeschooling is growing so rapidly. Every parent needs to decide himself what is the best education for his children. Parents need to be in control, not teachers, and not the state.

The only reason why the state has to be involved in education is to make sure that there is at least a base curriculum that children and teens are taught. If there isn't a base curriculum then trade schools, colleges, and universities would have a nightmare trying to train young adults since the students could range from massively different education levels.

A homeschooling system has to have a state approved curricula.as does a private school.they all must have an accredited college or school that gives out the guidelines.

A teacher must sign the testing done for the homeschool.private schools are allowed some leeway to reach somethings but the basic of the three rs are the same.it wouldnt be wise to have any school teaching what they want.100 years ago I'm my state and up to the 50s each city had its own school board.it was allowed and was changed by legislation driven by I believe one from my county

I found a link and posted it on these forums once, recently when I said the top five percent of the nations High School Graduates was composed largely of Home School Grads. People, understandably find it difficult to understand how unqualified people can do a better job than accredited and licensed teachers but the answer is simple.

Most people from the industrial nations leave basic education with a Fifth Grade Education level stuck in their heads. The evidence is easily view in the writings found in the Commercial Newspapers, both in print and published on the WWW. These are composed for the masses and they read at the Fifth Grade level.

So why can the paid teacher not do better? First there are the Teacher's Unions forbidding them going the extra mile. And then there is the Class Size.

When mom teaches it is much closer to and sometimes is a one on one instruction. But you say, they have not even been to college.

My granddaughter is a licensed teacher but refuses, after the required year of teaching in a public school to, ever teach in one again, there was so much back biting from the union members when she moved toward the obviously intelligent but falling behind.

And then; Yes, the mother, almost always ceased learning when she dropped out or graduated High School but as she receives or downloads her child's lessons, she studies first: Both are being educated and mom wants her baby to excel and to rise above the masses.

There is much that is positive to be said about Home Schooling and not so much to the negative.
