I know this is a though subeject. I believe the Lord spoke to my heart to share this with others. First lets look at one scripture. Matthew 6- 14 " For if you forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
I believe the Lord has said that forgiveness starts at home with ourselves. Sometimes we carry false guilt and hatred for ourselves, no matter if it is sin, if we can't forgive ourselves then how can we forgive others. Sometimes we ourselves are the hardest ones to forgive. Also remember that Jesus died for all our sins, thats in the past, the present and to come. That is like you owe large amounts of debt the Lord did not just pay it for us. He cancelled out the debt what He did is have it wiped out as if we never owed it. God does no longer look us as a sinner just saved by grace, but he looks at us sin free brothers and sisters of Jesus we are joint heirs to the throne. We have been given a free gift of grace which gives us an inheritence in Heaven to live in the House of God. So we should put all that unforgiveness on the Altar of God and not pick it back up. Think of it like this, God has then sent fire down and burned it all up with a consuming fire. Like he did with the false prophets of baal, when they challenged Elijah.
God Bless You All.
Robert
