Anyone else having problems with very slow posting and very slow going from one page to another? :sad

Posting messages takes way too long, and switching from one page to another takes more than 5 minutes, that is, IF it responds after I clicked the mouse.

You have no idea how long this is taking. I've tried typing faster but that doesn't seem to be working. :-?
 
This forum always posts slow, but it was extra slow today.
 
Slow is super fast in relation to how long it takes to post on the forum tonight.

I think the board has gained some speed today. Did someone fix it or, is it fixed by itself? :lol: Whoever did it..... or, if Logan did it..... THANKS! :-D

I just made a post and it went through a bit quicker.

ooops, I went into edit, and this board is still crawling at a super slow snails pace...

I feel like I'm in a time warp! :crazyeyes: It must have the hic-ups.

Whats up, admin people? This is EXTRA slow - so slow I'm not getting responses from posts for minutes and because of this tried again - got double post. Tried to delete - so far waiting for about 20mins to delete and just now got 'page cannot be displayed'.
 
I apologize everyone for the trouble.

I was trying to post a few new topics, and couldn't at all. I am always convinced that I broke the site somehow when this happens, until I read a post of someone else's trouble. Thanks Relic for taking the time to actually post a new topic...I couldn't as I said. Responding is quite slow too.

I am sure that it will be fixed as soon as possible...these things happen. The Lord bless all of you as you seize this opportunity to be patient. :)

Thanks in advance Vic, Judy, and Logan, and anyone else who is administrative that will have their hands in the fixing of all of this. I am thankful that this site runs as smoothly as it does so much of the time. The Lord bless you.

Yes very slow and over the last week seems to be getting slower.
As if the forum has not been optimized or the server is bogged down. :-? :sad

In all likely hood its the hosting company you use, who ever that might be.
I have a little expieriance with this stuff that is why I am saying hosting company. Who do you use?
 
I am pretty sure it is not the hosting company. i turned of the data base earlier today and the site was loading really fast. It is something to do with the database.

Its working much better now so what ever your doing your on the right page.
Posting is still slow but everything else is cool.
 
Well, I don't feel to bad now LOL :D , I've been having internet / vpn issues on my side the last couple of days as our systems are being reconfigured and I wasn't sure if it was on my side or not :-?

Seems like a couple of days earlier this week when you hit the post button, there wasn't any lag. Yesterday I couldn't even post.. Maybe that wasn't a bad thing huh ? LOL :angel:

oops... Sorry Logan, It appears as if the site is still not fixed.
I had to get in through a back door 8-) . Not sure if I can even browse the site. The cover page/index page is totally gone from the screen. As if the whole sight is shut down. All I can get is a moderators page which lists the moderators. And it says the site is not accepting new members.

Did you shut down the site until you figure things out? :smt017

Well, at least the emoticon screen still pops up. :-D


Since the site was down last night and this moring, I stayed away from the computer all day..... I sure did get a lot of yard work done today, :P :lol: ouch! my back! :sad Now I Must Rest.

I spoke to soon, it is still posting slow, but clicking on topics is very fast, there has got to be a solution. But I know Logan that you are doing the best that you can, and God bless you my brother.
