2 Peter 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 Peter 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Revelation 6:1-8
First seal - white horse, Matthew 24:5

Second seal - red horse Matthew 24:6

Third seal - black horse Matthew 24:7

Fourth seal - pale horse Matthew 24:8,9

The scoffers say we have always had wars and rumors of war, nations against nations, pestilences, and earth quakes and they are right about that, but do not see the greater sign even here in America that all these things are on a greater scale worldwide and not centrally located anymore. The increase is the beginning of sorrows spoken of in Matthew 24:1-13 and Rev Chapter six as I believe we are into the first six seals with the seventh seal getting closer that begins the seven trumpets sounding. Maybe in our life time or not, it is still coming and now is the time to be prepared for the return of the Lord.

They do not see that of antichrist who will promise peace and show great wonders in the sky that could even deceive the very elect if possible as this false prophet will show that of Christ coming in the air and many will see this false christ and take the mark of this beast, bowing down and worship the beast, Revelation chapter 13.

Revelation 6:1-8:

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

White horse represents a rider with great power and authority as in early wars where Generals would always ride a white horse as they went forth conquering and to conquer. The rider of this white horse is a false Christ: Matthew 24:5, 24; Revelation 19:11-15.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Red horse symbolizes Global war bringing much bloodshed to the land. The rider on the red horse takes peace from the earth and they should kill one another and there was given unto him a great sword: Matthew 24:6-10; Revelation 19:15

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Black horse is a symbol of famine as the rider holds a pair of balances in his hands causing much famine which follows after wars. Many will not be able to afford a days wage in order to feed for their families. Instead of coming to God they reach out to the beast out of the earth as they receive the mark of this beast, Rev 13; 1 Kings 8:37-43; Romans 8:34.

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Pale horse is a symbol of sickness and disease that follows after war that causes great famine in the world as many become sick and weak from dehydration and malnutrition and eventually die.

The pale horse riders name is Death. Following Death is Hell which means one that is laid in a grave after they have physically died as you can read in Strong’s Exhausted Concordance Hebrew #7585 – Greek # 86. Death is not a final destination, but a state of being until Christ returns and all, saint and sinner, will hear the voice of Christ to raise from their graves as some will raise to eternal life and some to eternal damnation, John 5:28, 29, Revelation 20:11-15.

We always always always read Revelation in future tense, as if Matt. 4:4 and Luke 4:4 don't apply, that every Word of God applies to all of us, continually, then, as now and will be

The only real remaining piece to the puzzle is the final elimination of the devil and his messengers

Waiting for their demise is a good thing, on the horizon

I think the Black horsemen is implied to be inflation rather than famine? Like the great depression/slump. These economic cycles are related to industrialism. Wouldn't oil and wine also be effected by famine? Though 6:8 might confirm famine.

Red horseman's "great sword" sounds abit like "Great War" (WW1). Though it doesn't actually say war, just take peace and they kill one another. So it might include socialist revolutions and not just war(s).

Pale is chlorus which is green.

Each horseman is associated with one of the 4 living creatures. These living creatures are supposed to have heads of Lion, Ox/Bull, Man/Angel, Eagle.

I'm not sure if these horsemen have already occurred sometime between John and now, or whether the are still coming. Consider the 2nd (Socialism? Great War?) and 3rd (Industrial Revolution? Great Depression?) could be a sequence.

Luke 17:20

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Revelation is a mixture of OT, NT history the past, what is happening in the present and what comes in the future as history always repeats itself, except in the end of days will Satan finally be defeated and cast into the lake of fire.

Jesus opens the seals and proceeds to reveal their meanings to John. The first four seals are that of four horses and what their riders bring with them. The first is false Christ, second to take peace from the earth, third is famine and the fourth is death and hell as found in the grave. Notice how each one is in succession of the other from first to last as already spoken by Christ in His Olivet disclosure in Matthew 24:4-13 as being the beginning of sorrows. There have always been sorrows, but never on a Global scale that will be seen during the timing of each rider of the four horses.

IMO, I believe we are about to see the sixth seal being opened as the first five, being the beginnings of sorrows, have been happening for many years, but now on a greater global scale. It won't be long before the seventh seal is opened as I see these events happening very quickly that leads up to the seventh trumpet sounding.

....
Not bad.

What I see:

1. notice a 1st Seal is only implied, and not specifically mentioned at the start of the Rev.6 chapter about the white horse rider. I believe it's because that white horse rider there who has no sword, but a bow of cheap fabric (Greek toxon), indeed is a fake Christ. And the role of the fake Christ doesn't actually happen until the first part of the 6th Seal.

2. The 6th Seal is actually shown with 2 Parts. The first part with Revelation 6:13 is about Satan and his angels cast down to earth after the future war in Heaven with Michael (Revelation 12:7-9). That's what the stars falling there represent. It is linked to the time of the early figs, which sets the timeline of when that is to occur, not just because of the 6th Seal time.

The idea of the early fig is about a winter fig that grows early in the winter and falls off in the spring. Lord Jesus comes in metaphorical summertime, so to be gathered in the winter or spring means being gathered too early, and thus represents deception to the false messiah who comes first.

Then with the Revelation 6:14-17 Scripture, it's about the event of Christ's return later.

3. the 2nd Seal red horse does parallel the Matthew 24:5 verse. But did you catch the first part of that verse where Jesus says we will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but the end is not yet? That means, as long as we hear of war the very end (the tribulation) is not yet. War is still going on today, so the tribulation is still not yet (but very close).

4. the 3rd Seal, the black horse, is about world commerce, economic inflation, and remember per the Book of Amos, God said He would bring a famine in the last days, but not for literal bread, but for hearing The Word of God, looking everywhere for it and not finding it. (very true for today!) Hurt not the Oil and the Wine are about symbols for The Holy Spirit and God's Word as the Wine. For Christ's elect, those things are not to be harmed. (so true for those given to understand in these last days too!)

5. the 4th Seal also represents the time of sorrows upon the world, and Satan's control over a 4th part of the earth. I believe this relates to the time of the locusts of Revelation 9 and the Book of Joel.

6. the 5th Seal is when some of us are delivered up to councils and synagogues during the "great tribulation" to give a Testimony for Christ (Matthew 24:9-14). Some of us may be killed for that Testimony with The Holy Spirit speaking through us to the nations.

I like this and very informative addition. Thank you for sharing this with us.

The fifth seal shows John a vision of all those who have already been slain for the word of God that are asleep in the grave waiting for God to avenge them as their spirits have returned back to God who preserves their spirit until the day of redemption when Jesus returns, Ecclesiastics 12:7; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. They are told to rest a little while until their fellow servants that will be killed needs to be fulfilled. These servants are those who have the witness and testimony of Jesus that will be preaching salvation throughout the world during the time of great tribulation until the great and terrible day of the Lords return, Joel 2:31; Matthew 24:29-31.

The sixth seal was opened and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair (sackcloth was usually course goat hair), and the moon became as the color of blood. Joel 2:30, 31 and Luke 21:25 forewarns us of what will happen as signs we will see before the great and terrible day of the Lord as in being Gods great wrath before the return of Jesus.

The war we read about in the fourth seal is Global war as these armies will use nuclear and chemical weaponry that not only kills a fourth of the people living on earth, but also creates environmental changes on the earth’s surface and deeper in the earth’s core. The environmental changes that will take place deeper into the earth’s core will activate vault lines causing great earthquakes and volcanoes to erupt.

When you put the effects of nuclear and chemical bombs hitting the ground this will cause the plates of the earth to shift causing earthquakes and volcanoes to erupt. This will produce a massive amount of dust particles to fill the air blocking out sunlight making it appear that the sun has been darkened. The dust particles also scatter blue and green light away in the atmosphere, but red light passes through more easily causing the moon to appear blood red.

The stars that fall from heaven are likened unto a fig tree that loses its figs before they are ripe when the tree is shaken by a mighty wind. This is in reference to those who call themselves Christian, but by name only as they have not the Holy Spirit dwelling in them, Matthew 7:21. The mighty wind that is shaking this tree is Satan as being the host in heaven that will be punished, Isaiah 24:21; 34:4. Satan will cause a great falling away before the return of Jesus, 2 Thessalonians 2:3 as he uses his false prophets who think themselves higher than those they teach as they lord superior over their congregations as in the Pharisees that Jesus condemned in Matthew 23:13-38.
