Ok i was reading genesis book 1 and it said God created the earth in and man in 6 days. Now if God created man a day after earth then where is there room for the dinosaurs to dwell? If some one can give me some insight i would apprcieate it

A day to God, is not necessarily what a day is to us (24 hours) we measure our days by the rotation of the sun. God would use a different way to measure His days. Some say it is 1,000 years of our time, or maybe it is even more! I hope that is helpful.

Yes i figured that but in genesis it described the sun coming and going. That would only account for 6000 days what about the other 250 million years

This is because you are trying to reconcile man's opinion with God's Word. No, they were 6 literal days, not long ages. God created this universe in 6 days and rested on the seventh. Why do you think there's even a commandment for worship once a week?

This one is always a hot issue. Something about evidence of age.
If you were present when Jesus fed the multitudes (twice) what age would you give the fish? 6 months? 8 months or a year? What you would have in your hand would indeed show all indications of a fully matured fish.

I think before we tackle the age of the universe we need to try to understand that miracle, the creation of those fishes.

The earth in this present age was fashioned in 6 literal days....

The "Gap Theory" is the best explanation of dinosaurs and other items of antiquity (i.e. pyramids, etc).

In a nutshell, the Gap Theory states that a timeframe of (?) occurs between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2. This would allow a time for dinosaurs before man was formed.

In regard to 6 days equaling an undetermined amount of time...consider the sequence....

Grass and trees on the 3rd day and the sun and moon on the 4th day...I wasn't that great in science but I do believe that plants need the sun to survive. This is not possible using "millions of years" and calling it a day.

imple the dinos are just reptiles that lived a long time. if Adan lived 930 years, how big could your pet lizard get in 930 year since they never stop growing?

The Book of Job (takes place about the time of Abe.) lists 2 dinos.

We have jars painted about 500 years ago in Paru that have dinos on it so how did they know what dinos looked like unless theysaw them (this was 400 years befor the first dino bones were seen) One of the jars even has a man riding a stagasouris & on has man hunting a Rex. Even in the grand Canyon there are paintings of man & dinos.

But the big question i always have for evo-christians is this

If the Jw's & Mormons are cuts because they twist the Bible to make it match the teachings of the leaders thus proving they worship the Leader as the only truth, what about Evo-christians (so-called chriatians that believe in evolution over the Bible) that place Science above the WORD OF GOD. See for the REAL CHRISTIAN, the WORD of God is the top truth & anything that disagrees with it is wrong - even Science. So Evo-christians who is your real God

There's nothing wrong with science. Science produces data. The scientist produces the conclusion. "Scientific conclusion" is opinion based on interpretation of the data collected.
