Up to this point, the explanations of Genesis chapter 1 is still by its word meaning, no adding nor subtracting, and of course reasonable scientific proves.
First of all, the word created (in Genesis chapter 1 occurred only 3 times, first is verse 1, and then in the fifth day, creation of animals, and sixth day creation of human. Aside from these, the bible didn’t say that day 1 to day 4 is a creation.
Verse 1 created, verse 21 created, verse 27 created, these are identical word, in original text H1252, which means creation.
Now is day 4 discussion, verse 16 “And God made two lights…” the word “made” H6213 is identical to verse 7 “And God made the firmament…” This word made doesn’t mean creation from none, and thus we can say “made” is simply a word “make it happen” or like “I made a cake”, we don’t say “I create a cake”.
So day 4 is not the creation of sun, confusing? I’m not confused when I saw this explanation, because…
Why day 1 already said “let there be light”, yes I know we are taught that God created the sun on fourth day, and we used to it, and not even question about it, and thus we have to use other explanations to explain this, this is so wrong, just like happened in the ancient time 16 century, when a man found out that the earth is orbiting around the sun, he is Galileo? And I remembered that the church at that time still believe that sun is orbiting around the earth based on what they saw, and attack him, sued him, and that brought the churches into a big shame, the history already taught us.
Verse 16 said very clearly “God made two great lights” it doesn't mean God create two great lights, and how does it mean if it is "God create the light moon?" is moon a great light? Is it shine? Its not even a light source, and so if day 4 is creation, then bible ofcourse is wrong, bible is wrong? of course not.
Light is already existed before first day, we may heard messages like that the day 1’s light is some kind of outer space light source etc. explantions, and I don’t think so, because bible clearly said evening and morning and in every day, without sun, and without earth’s rotation, there is no evening and morning, and I can imagine that without these scientific fact at that ancient time, the original writer of Genesis was just write down what he saw and what he knew, from the position he stood, he doesn’t know the earth is orbiting around the sun yet and others, and so writing the Genesis chapter 1 in this form is reasonable. There are other example in the bible like this. I mention one, The Book of Zechariah chapter 5, the main thing in this chapter is flying scroll or flying roll, this is actually the nuclear missile, the size the length is accurately described as today's one kind of nuclear missible, at that time, there is no substitution things to relate to a missile, just a scroll, and also this chapter mentioned woman, actually the original text in Hebrew is without vowels, and thus wrongly translated, since woman and fire is written the same, it should be fire, not woman, and also the lead, nuclear bomb needs lead cover up to keep radioactivity inside.
So the truth is… day 1 had the light is based on the position on surface of earth, it is for the human on the surface of earth to understand, And there is no reason that God made the bible for only a small portions of people to read, for instance, astronomer, or scientist, and so in day 4, it is at a position in outer space, that it had written, the sun and moon already exist.
And so God made 2 great lights isn’t the creation of sun and moon, it just means make it happened from the position on earth surface, firmament means atmosphere, and thus day 4 God make it more clearly that sunlight passing thru to shine earth surface, the big one rule the day, the small one rule the night, and also the stars can be seen from the position on earth surface.
You can think this way, if sun moon stars were newly created on day 4, then the literature shouldn’t be that way, it should be said this way, God created sun, moon and stars respectively, why should the stars appeared after 2 great lights and not respectively?
Note that reading bible isn’t just reading the bible’s text itself only, we have to read the mind of the author, and with the time, surroundings, culture etc. and this way, we can solve riddles, because the bible said, God only reveal everything to Moses, God speak to Moses face to face, others, God may reveal it from your dreams or any other forms, and we have to solve it.
Day 5 and 6 used the word “created”, it is creation from none, the creation of animals, fish etc. iin our world now, they are created during day 5. The archeologist discoveries of those prehistoric beings, they are not in our world now, they are prehistoric, they are those creatures before 6 days, which is destroyed by satan and his fellows, and I like to think this way, prehistoric also a plan of God, in fact, for the benefits of human, e.g. the gasoline. And also prehistoric isn’t an earth for human to live on, human cannot survive on that, and so God have to remake it to were we can lived, and God have to create smaller animals, and with some "big", note that the text emphasize "big fish" simply means whales, and what will happened if dinosaurs exist on this world?
With all these explantions, by using the meaning of the words itself and by meaning of facts and science, then we understood Genesis chapter 1, then we will admire the creation of God, even the angels admires the creation very much, in fact angels are tempted to get daughters of human as their wives, because of their beauty, we all know that, human body is the biggest art, there is no other art greater than that, I'll explain angel+human children.
Not only this chapter should be explain it by it's word only, but also others e.g. Genesis 6:2 “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”
I would say, it exactly means the angels took girls as their wives, as he wish, the text stated “which they chose”, I would think this way, because angels do not obeying Gods command, and thus against God’s command and choose what they want. And you can see that by following verses, immediately, their ages decreases to 120, God regrets His creation… and the flood, Why God have to do that? Because the children of angels+human isn’t God’s will, they have to be destroyed, or else what can a world will be with those extraordinary human? It will be return to prehistoric period which is out of orders. (as we know from science, just a second error of earth rotation, humanity will be destroyed, and God is always keep it in order) And also these mix angel and humans also occurred after the flood, for example the giant which David killed, and God also ordered them to kill them all, genocide, even the baby, woman, children. And also, God gave Israeli great strength to fight against these giants, and also, angels also helped in those wars. Now explanation solved my confusing thoughts, is God that cruel? Have to kill all of them even the child, the woman and the baby? Of course yes, because they are the posterity of angels+human. And this is the reason, the explanation of Genesis 6:4 “There were giants in the earth in those days” it means there were giants existed already in those days, which also indirectly means later, the giants also exist after the flood.
