My wife was telling me about one of the young women we help at church.
She was giving her good advice that she needed to hear and it was well received.
Then she said, "if you can't give good advice, then keep your mouth shut".
That's just the way she talks.
She's one tough cookie (I don't know where that expression came from but I use it a lot. I suppose someone once made cookies that were more like hockey pucks, or something like that).
What she said made me realize that here on the forum we sometimes get emotional in a thread and say things that may not be considered good advice.
I just wanted to share that with you all.
I think my wife is giving good advice when she says, "if you can't give good advice, then keep your mouth shut".
