God’s glorious grace, and His glorious justice

I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism. [1 Timothy 5:21 NIV]
  • God says, in His holy scripture that some angels are elect.


"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.” [Matthew 25:34 NIV]
  • God says, in His holy scripture that the kingdom was prepared since the creation of the world.
  • God says, in His holy scripture that the kingdom was prepared for specific individuals (“for you”).

he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will -- to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. [Ephesians 1:5-6 NIV]
  • God says, in His holy scripture that He predestined us.
  • God says, in His holy scripture that we are predestined “for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ”, which means salvation, since one is not an unsaved son of God.

What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction? [Rom 9:22 NIV]
  • God says, in His holy scripture that He patiently put up with the objects of His wrath prepared for destruction.
  • God says, in His holy scripture that God desires to show his wrath in order to make his power known.

What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory-- [Rom 9:23 NIV]
  • God says, in His holy scripture that the reason why God did what he did in Romans 9:22 (delayed His wrath) was to show His glory.
  • God says, in His holy scripture that “the objects of His mercy” (that is the people ‘predestined’ in the earlier verse) was prepared in advance for glory by God Himself.


For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. [Jude 1:4 NIV]
  • God says, in His holy scripture that the condemnation of ungodly people was written about long ago.
  • God says, in His holy scripture that ungodly people deny Jesus Christ our Lord.

CONCLUSION:
From God’s word, we learn that it is by God’s pleasure and will, and it is to demonstrate God’s glory that some people and angels are elected, chosen, predestined, foreordained to eternal life through and in Jesus Christ, and “to the praise of His glorious grace”, while others are left to live their lives of sin, which leads to their just condemnation ... to the praise of His glorious justice.

Who is “we” referring to?

We know from the scriptures that Judas was predestined along with the other 11.

So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Matthew 19:28

Romans 9:3-5


The election of Romans 9 pertains to those elected for the lineage of Christ, from which the children of Israel came.


God would not allow the Pharoah to stop the children of Israel to possess the promised land which He swore to Abraham and his descendants.

God, the creator of the universe, is in need of glory.
And to get this glory He damns some to hell for all eternity.
Yes,,,that is certainly a great way to show the glory of a being that is
LOVING
MERCIFUL
JUST

What verse leads you to believe that God must damn some to hell to get some glory?
I can't think of any.
