At least in this country we are allowed to write on forums with minimal moderating (although some may disagree here) and minimal intrusions!

While I absolutely agree with you about this particular forum, this is hardly an issue of patriotic rhetoric. And, there is ONE particular Christian forum - which will remain nameless - whose administrator is akin to Adolph Hitler. He even has an appropriate name!

Here in Australia, probably England, probably many other countries, the same or similar freedoms to those experienced in the U.S. are common place. No offense, but it's rather silly to make 'freedom' purely a monopoly of America. It makes me wonder whether or not you've ever set foot outside the U.S. It might be more appropriate - and far less jingoistic - to say "God Bless The World."

By the way, as a realistic 'downer', yours and our 'freedoms' are being eroded as each day goes by. Problem is ...many people are so wrapped in their flags that they don't see this.
