God Established his New Covenant in the Garden of Eden

God established his New Covenant in the Garden of Eden when he created the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

If we look at the description of God's New Covenant in Jeremiah 31:31-34 God describes his new covenant in which he says that, “I will put my law in their minds and write it in their hearts.” Nowhere is there any mention of our flesh!

When God created the forbidden Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil God put all of his laws in man's heart and mind, but not in his flesh. For God's command not to eat of the fruit of the forbidden tree was a verbal command for man's heart and mind.

Consider that in the Garden of Eden there was only one law of God's which was not to eat of the fruit of the forbidden tree. That law was available to everyone's heart and mind, and applied equally to everyone (hint: even serpents). If God had placed his laws directly in our flesh (hint: which would happen when Adam and Eve sinned and acquired God's Knowledge of Good and Evil) then mankind would have dominion over God's own laws, for man's flesh is under man's own dominion. Once God's laws become part of man's flesh (hint: after the sin of Adam and Eve) then mankind could reject God's law with impunity (hint: which is why we receive a new body in heaven!).

During creation God had given man dominion over his own flesh when he created man from the 'dust of the ground' for God then gave man dominion over this same 'dust of the ground' thereby giving man dominion over himself.

Now when God created the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, God created it from the same 'dust of the ground' that he created man from. The implication is that since God created the forbidden tree from the same ground that he created man from, and since God had given man dominion over this same ground, did God also gave man dominion over his forbidden tree?

This paradox is what Satan wanted to find out by tempting Eve to sin. The paradox is this - if man had dominion over the actual tree, because both tree and man were created from the same ground, did it also give man dominion over God's knowledge of Good and Evil that lay inside the fruit?

This what the Bible is all about, resolving the riddle of the Paradox of the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil! If man has dominion over the actual Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil does he also have dominion over God's knowledge of Good and Evil inside....irrespective of God's command not to eat of its fruit!

Here you have a tree that is under man's dominion and is full of God's knowledge of Good and Evil but God had forbidden man from eating of its fruit.

Essentially the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil now represents man's sinful condition where God placed his knowledge of Good and Evil directly inside a tree that was under man's dominion and now after man's sin that same knowledge was inside all of mankind's flesh.

Sinful man is now like the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil, where our flesh is under our dominion but it is now filled with God's knowledge of Good and Evil, hence mankind gained dominion over God's knowledge of Good and Evil through his sinful act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Because of man's sin God was forced to place his laws in our flesh where we gain dominion over them.

When man sinned he became his own individual copy of the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil. Every person is now like the forbidden tree for we now place our own forbidden tree (hint: ourselves) off limits to all others and we guard our tree (hint: ourselves) to prevent anyone from gaining any access to it, even God himself. And since the tree was in the center of the garden we all now want to be the center of attention! (hint: for Good and/or Evil)

Now let's return to God's new covenant established by Jesus Christ, who is the second or last Adam. At the Last Supper God (hint: Jesus Christ) placed his laws in our hearts and minds but not in our flesh. If God had placed his laws directly in our flesh then God would have placed his covenant inside our body, which is under our dominion (hint: Deja Vu - Garden of Eden all over again!), thereby man would once again gain the right to determine exclusivity and access to God's laws.

So instead of Christ believing missionaries being sent out to spread God's word of salvation freely to everyone we would instead send out priests to establish rituals and rules to follow to determine compliance to God's laws that are under our dominion. This will in fact happen during the Great Tribulation when the Antichrist (hint: Satan) will write his laws onto man's flesh (hint: 666) and subsequently every person with the mark of the beast '666' will be damned to an existence in hell forever (hint: Read the Book of Revelation).

Hence, by God NOT placing his laws of his New Covenant in our flesh we have no dominion over those laws and we have no right to exclude anyone from those laws which means that we MUST extend God's laws outside ourselves by following the 10 Commandments! For the 10 commandments command us to be mindful of other people's property and rights, even God's!

When God created the forbidden Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil God was putting all of his laws in man's heart and mind while keeping them separate from our flesh. In the Garden of Eden there was only one law of God's that was not to eat of the fruit of the forbidden tree. That law was available to everyone, and applied to everyone.

But when mankind sinned man placed God's knowledge of Good and Evil inside himself, and under his own dominion, thereby sinful man could easily deny anyone this knowledge. This means that sinful man could make up laws and rules based on God's knowledge of Good and Evil and then selectively, and exclusively, apply them to all others while excluding himself.

Eventually everyone will suffer the same punishment for our transgressions against God's laws even though those laws are written in our flesh (hint: the knowledge of good and evil) and therefore under our dominion. For nobody has yet conquered death. God will take back the dominion of his laws either by death and an eternity in hell. Or by death and life everlasting with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, whereupon all believers in Jesus Christ will receive a new body!

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ who is God's son - God become man – who came to this world to reclaim dominion over God's knowledge of Good and Evil and can now offer all of us forgiveness of our sins instead of condemnation under the law. For Jesus Christ was crucified on all of our individual forbidden Trees so we can be transformed into a Tree of Life!

God Bless – Have A Blessed Easter!

God Established his New Covenant in the Garden of Eden

God established his New Covenant in the Garden of Eden when he created the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

When God created the forbidden Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil God put all of his laws in man's heart and mind, but not in his flesh. For God's command not to eat of the fruit of the forbidden tree was a verbal command for man's heart and mind.
The reason the God forbade Adam to eat that fruit is; IMO, Adam lacked the maturity to deal with the knowledge of good and evil.
Adam's purpose was to know God, not good and evil. It is impossible to properly utilize the knowledge of good and evil without a perfect, intimate knowledge of everything that God wants us to know about Him. Adam wasn't there yet.

The temptation presented to Eve and then Adam was that they could be gods on their own account by knowing good and evil. That was the first lie that they had ever heard and being childlike and naive, they fell for it.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil had absolutely nothing, (ZERO) to do with the new covenant.
The old covenant told Israel what God's will was for them and their experience taught them that it was impossible to keep.
The new covenant destroyed the power of sin made manifest by the first and offered eternal life to anyone who would accept Jesus Lordship for their lives and strive to live by his command to love. (a generalization)

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil has nothing to do with either covenant. We don't need to know evil. We need to know God. If you know God then evil is glaringly obvious.
