Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the gospel. When the gospel has been preached in a place, or among a people, and rejected ~ then what? Are there lands, groups of people, nations, or descendants of people that have been forsaken by God? Past the point of no return?
2Cr 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Where is this modern day Babylon?
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Remember Lot's wife.
Should we take it literally today? What should we do when we hear of someone who wants to be a missionary to such a land, plant a ministry, do a crusade, or some other such thing?
Many years ago the Lord was dealing with me on the topic of discernment. If the church that is alive today had been around in the days of Moses, would we have set up a disaster relief fund for Egypt?
