Bible Study God is still mighty in power

The word tells that God doesn't change. I believe He still has, like in the
day of apostles, the same power available to his children to heal sickness of
all kind, and set free those oppressed by the enemy. I've seen a glimpse of
His power, but believe that from the Thorne of Grace the same power flows from
heaven to deliver and set free.

I believe such power is real today also, although I do believe that healing is a specific gift like other gifts of the Spirit, and that therefore not just anyone can have it. It must be a God given gift. But yes I do believe it to be a on-going operation of God in the Church through believers today.

Good post, and welcome to the boards.

God Bless,

The greatest evidence of God's power is in the conversion of the human mind. It’s not as dramatic as the parting of the red sea or the raising of the dead, but it is far more lasting than both.
