God Said NO!

I hope that you can get the effects on your computers! The words are great, but the movements of the faces add a lot....

I asked God to take away my habit.

God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

If you love God, send this to ten people and back to the person that sent it.

THIS DAY IS YOURS DON'T THROW IT AWAY

May God Bless You,

"Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them,
but you know they are always there.

Thanks

While the sentiments are lovely, I recommend you NOT forward that email to anyone. Chances are good it is a ploy to pass around a virus.

I seldomly forward i found cut and paste the parts you like and send in your own e-mail you craeted is a good way to stay safe.

But thank you

Very good!

Maybe we saved some folks some headaches by discussing it. :)

Those 'touchy feely' 'send this on and get blessed' mails.
At the end of some of these sappy emails they tell you if you don't send this to x amount of people, you will experience some misfortune. :o
Is that witchcraft or what?

And how appropriate that they are sometimes called chain letters. Just to keep one in bondage huh!

I despise that! :x

I used to get a lot of that kind of touchy-feely stuff in my emails and knew the possibility that a virus could lurk in some. Then I found that my email filtering can filter the subject header. If you want to eliminate much of it, just put a reject on the condition in the subject header "FW:" Nine times out of ten it's coming from the same people who merely forward it (or the virus does it for them) and it seems they never composed an original message in their lives anyway. Probably will not be missing much.

hmmm

Yea it usually is the same people.
So when I do find stuff that is really good I just copy and paste it into a letter. So there is nowway to pass ona a virus . I also have very good virus /spyware.
But there are many good messages such as the one in this post.
God does say no. It reminds me of the garth Brooks song thank God for unanswered prayers.
