I have been saying for decades that God don't care about football games or hockey or baseball. But I still see sports figures still saying that God helped them win. The thing you can link to God is that He blessed you with athletic ability and a brain. But Aaron Rogers of Green Bay made a comment that made me remember what I already knew, God don't care who wins the Super Bowl. When they make a touch down some will drop to their knees and pray or point up to heaven, like God is a Eagles fan, God ain't in that. God is more concerned about our character than he is about who wins a football game. He is more concerned about the players themselves.

I tell ya what though, those games are rigged by the refs. I'm sure you saw the cowboys game where the guy clearly caught the ball and the ref is like "oh that's not a catch" HA! The superbowl is like the biggest sports betting time of the year and you just know the mafia is paying ppl off left and right to make (or do) things to cause certain teams to win or lose.
I hope the pats will win and it seems like deflate-gate is getting them all fired up, but I have a feeling the seahawks will win- for various reasons, including the one I listed above, but I'll be creating another post somewhere to discuss my conspiacy theory.

I am very glad you said this, I personally think the Seahawks and the Packers game was rigged...shhhhhhh though I'd get slammed by my co-fans.
People who have support th NFL for years and years don't believe it, but I've thought this since the last time the Seahawks went to the SB and lost to the Steelers.

While I agree with Lewis's OP, and I'm surely no sports fan (batting a football into a net never got me excited), you can't rob a guy of his praise in regard to 'and whatever you do, do it to the glory of God'. Sometimes doing something to the glory of God means you're going to do it better than anyone else.
