God's 7 Day (7,000 year) plan

I always believed in this,as it makes perfect sense, but I never really studied it......

Anyway here's a interesting article on the subject........

The Biblical prophetic understanding that God has established a 7 day (7,000 solar year) master time plan for His creation of mankind on planet Earth is not a recent revelation. There is written evidence this knowledge has been known since the 2nd century AD and possibly before (See links below).
God told the 8th Century BC prophet Isaiah:
“for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, DECLARING the END from the BEGINNING, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done†(Isaiah 46:9-10).
This could only mean God TOLD mankind WHEN the END would occur from the very BEGINNING!!! But how did He do that when the beginning was the Creation? Friend, He secretly concealed it in the fact that He purposely chose to conclude the Creation event in 6 days, followed by a day of rest (the 7th day Sabbath). Through use of this specific numeration, God was clandestinely proclaiming, “My complete, finished, master time plan for mankind on Earth is a factor of 7.â€

It appears God first let His secret out of the bag to Moses in the 14th Century BC (recorded in Psalms 90:4) with respect to the actual “length of time†of a “day†in His master time plan, and then conspicuously confirmed it through a letter of Peter's in the 1st Century AD, concerning the timing of Jesus’ 2nd Advent:
“Where is the promise of his (2nd) Coming? ... But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that ONE DAY is with the Lord as a THOUSAND YEARS, and a THOUSAND YEARS as ONE DAY … the ‘day of the Lord’ will come as a thief in the night … the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up†(II Peter 3:4-10).
Near the close of the 1st Century AD, God disclosed more secrets concerning His master time plan to an aged Apostle John on the isle of Patmos, which John then wrote down in a long letter called “The Revelationâ€. In it, God revealed (for the first time ever) that there is a coming 1,000 year period on Earth during which Jesus Christ will reign as King of Kings from Jerusalem, Satan will be locked up, and peace will cover the Earth. And the 1,000 year period will commence with a bodily resurrection of every righteous soul who ever lived (the 1st resurrection)—while Earth’s surface and all godless inhabitants are simultaneously being destroyed by fire!—followed by the descending of Jesus Christ and his family of resurrected souls back down to live on a beautiful, newly-regenerated, planet Earth. This whole event is collectively known as Jesus Christ’s 2nd Coming!
“And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years … that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled … And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them … and they (the resurrected righteous) lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years†(The Revelation 20:2-4).
After this new revelation, it seems it did not take long for some early 2nd Century Christians to make the connection that John’s description of this “1,000 year period†sounded alot like the famed weekly SABBATH DAY—i.e. a time of rest on Earth! In other words, people were beginning to understand the seemingly odd addition of a “day of rest†to God’s Creation story—known about since the beginning of time (See links below)—actually had TREMENDOUS significance! It prophesied of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ on Earth, or what had always been known to mankind as THE LORD’S DAY!!!

The Fig Tree

Just days before Jesus’ death, his disciples came to him and asked what the signs would be right before his 2nd Coming to Earth (read chapter 1, God’s Master Time Plan, in my book for a detailed discussion of Biblical prophecies that are clearly setting up for fulfillment right now at the close of 6,000 years of mankind’s history). At the end of his answer, Jesus told an amazing parable (and made a fascinating statement concerning it) that GREATLY helps us pinpoint when his 2nd Advent will occur:
“Now learn a parable of the Fig Tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, KNOW THAT IT IS NEAR, EVEN AT THE DOORS. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled†(Matthew 24:32-34).
Now in a parable, some physical entity always represents something else. Well, in Scripture, it is clear the FIG TREE always represented the nation of Israel. God told the 8th Century BC prophet Hosea: “I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time†(Hosea 9:10). And during Jesus’ 3½ year ministry, he often used a fig tree in parabolic form when communicating things about Israel (See chapter 1, God’s Master Time Plan, for more details).

Long story short, when the nation of Israel amazingly, against-all-odds, came back on the map again in AD 1948 (after almost 1,900 years of non-existence) the Fig Tree in Jesus’ parable above had put forth her leaves! Thus, Jesus was declaring, “The generation of people that sees this happen will not pass (or all die) before my 2nd Coming occurs!â€

So how long is this generation of people? Are you ready for this? The answer is contained in the SAME Psalm of Moses where God first revealed the prophetic length of a day in His master time plan:
“For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past … The days of our years are threescore years and ten (70 years); and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80 years), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we FLY AWAY†(Psalms 90:4-10).
There you have it, folks … 80 years added to 1948 yields AD 2028! THAT is the last possible year on our current Gregorian calendar that Jesus Christ could return to Earth and still fulfill the words of his parable above. And isn’t it mind-blowing to realize 2,000 years earlier (from that future year) yields AD 28 on our current Gregorian calendar, which is a highly respected year among scholars for Christ’s death! Friend, I cannot say it any louder or clearer … JESUS CHRIST IS COMING BACK TO EARTH VERY SOON! And it will be somewhere between AD 2026 to AD 2028, with AD 2028 looking very likely—which means the final 7 year tribulation period will begin somewhere around AD 2021.

Friend, Jesus Christ’s 2nd Coming cannot be hastened or delayed. It is a set time! The Messiah MUST and WILL fulfill all prophetic Scripture His Father wrote about him; God cannot and will not change His prophetic Biblical Word, and He will NEVER be found a liar. Therefore, Jesus Christ will return to planet Earth during mankind’s 6,000th year!

Creation Days True Prophetic Meaning

Alright, here is the farther revelation concerning God’s 7 day Creation week; not only did day 7 prophetically speak of (or symbolize) what the 7th 1,000 year period of mankind would be like on Earth as Christ’s Sabbath reign, but amazingly EACH DAY in chronological order actually prophesied about “things” that would happen during that particular 1,000 year period of mankind’s history on Earth! Do you understand? Go back to the top of this webpage and look at the verse from Isaiah again. Do you notice God said He declared “from ancient times the things that are not yet done”? Friend, He did this in the 7 day Creation story!!! And here it is in brief form (read chapter 1, God's Master Time Plan, in my book for more detail):
Day 1 (0 – 1,000 years)

Creation story:

“And God said, Let there be light … And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness” (Genesis 1:3-4).
Mankind’s history:

This foretold that light and dark (or good and evil) would become discernible (or separated) in mankind’s spirits during the 1st millennial day. This happened in the Garden of Eden when Adam & Eve sinned by eating the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil, and God proclaimed, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to KNOW good and evil” (Genesis 3:22). Later, Jesus said, “… and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light” (John 3:19-20).
Day 2 (1,000 – 2,000 years)

Creation story:

“And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament …” (Genesis 1:7).
Mankind’s history:

This foretold of the great worldwide flood of Noah’s day, which occurred during mankind’s 1,656th year (see Genesis chapter 5 and 7:11). Before the flood, it had never rained on the Earth—Earth was watered by a mist springing up from the ground (Gen 2:6). But after the flood, most of the water that was under the Earth’s crust was now on top of it forming oceans, and Earth was now watered by rain falling from clouds in the heavens.
But the real reason God wanted to prophesy of this significant event from the beginning of Creation was because the story of Noah and the global deluge was to be a prophetic picture (or parable) of what would occur during Jesus Christ’s 2nd Coming! God even went so far as to secretly reveal through the details in the story that Christ’s 2nd Coming will absolutely, positively take place during mankind’s 6,000th year!!! (See chapter 4, Noah.)
Day 3 (2,000 – 3,000 years)

Creation story:

“And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear …” (Genesis 1:9).
Mankind’s history:

This foretold of the ‘Red Sea event’ where Moses and the Israelite children were delivered from Pharaoh’s army by God parting the waters and making a way for them to cross the Red Sea on dry land, which occurred during mankind’s 2,638th year (see page 17 in my book).
But the real reason God wanted to prophesy of this significant event from the beginning of Creation was because the story of the Israelites escaping Egyptian bondage by God’s supernatural hand through Moses was to be a prophetic picture (or parable) of what God would supernaturally do through Jesus Christ during his 1st Coming to Earth on the cross of Calvary, delivering mankind’s souls out of their bondage to sin and death! God even secretly revealed through the details in the story that Jesus Christ would absolutely, positively die during mankind’s 4,000th year!!! (See chapter 9, Moses.)
Day 4 (3,000 – 4,000 years)

Creation story:

“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also” (Genesis 1:16).
Mankind’s history:

This foretold the coming of Jesus Christ and John the Baptist during mankind’s 4th millennial day. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world” (John 9:5). And the Apostle John wrote about John the Baptist: “He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that light” (John 1:8). Wow! Do you see? John the Baptist bore witness of Jesus’ light, just like the moon reflects (or bears witness) of the sun’s light!
Like I said in Day 3’s commentary, Jesus Christ died and 40 days later was resurrected back into heaven all during mankind’s 4,000th year (the end of the 4th millennial day); thus, Christ lived his entire life on Earth during mankind’s 4th millennial day, just like God had prophesied from Creation (as did John the Baptist who was beheaded before Jesus’ ministry was finished).
Day 5 (4,000 – 5,000 years)

Creation story:

“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life” (Genesis 1:16).
Mankind’s history:

This foretold sinless Jesus Christ would die on the cross (paying a spiritual death penalty for sin he didn't owe!) and thereby become the spiritual "water of life" whereby mankind's dead souls could find eternal life, all by the start of the 5th millennial day. Jesus said, “Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14).
Do you understand? Day 5 & 6 are the only two days in which life (moving creatures) existed (or came into being) in the Creation narrative. Likewise, millennial day 5 & 6 of mankind's existence (years 4,000 to 6,000) were to be the only two days in which Christ's redemptive work would be finished and available to mankind even as they lived their life in this age on Earth. But please understand Christ's "work of atonement" was retroactive as well, meaning once he died on the cross, all the righteous dead who had lived during the first 4,000 years of mankind now found life for their souls, too!
Day 6 (5,000 – 6,000 years)

Creation story:

“So God created man in his own image…And God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and SUBDUE it …” (Genesis 1:27-28).
Mankind’s history:

This foretold of the incredible human population boom, mapping, and globalization that has taken place during this 6th millennial day we live in right now on Earth; and which will soon end with an Antichrist (man with the number 666) controlling (or subduing) all of Earth’s inhabitants!
Day 7 (6,000 – 7,000 years)

Creation story:

“And on the seventh day God ENDED his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it …” (Genesis 2:2-3).
Mankind’s history:

This foretells (as previously discussed) of the soon coming, glorious, peaceful, restful 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ on Earth, which will kick off during year 6,000 with the rapture of all believers who ever lived, the destruction of Earth’s surface and all godless, beast-marked populace with fire, and the descending of Jesus Christ’s family of righteous souls back down onto a beautifully new Earth where peace, love, and joy abounds!

Well, there it is! Is that not amazing? Yes, God had foretold an amazing quantity of “things that were not yet done” all from the Creation of the world!

Any thoughts ?

??? It seems that Christ could have figured that one out, Lord of OT! Acts 7:38
And perhaps it might be sooner than that! ;)

But 'i' will document... HE IS NOT HERE YET!

Dan. 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, (70 AD), and the abomination (of the Dome of the Rock) that maketh desolate (the holiest of the Holy Place, be) set up (in 690 AD), there shall be (1290 years), a thousand two hundred and ninety days, (1290 + 690 = 1980AD, when the Jews, again are in possession of Jerusalem).

Dan. 12:12 Blessed is he, (in 1980 AD), that waiteth (45 more years), and cometh to (the end: i.e.; 1980 + 45 =2025AD), the thousand, three hundred and five and thirty days, (2K25 AD).

Interesting math here, 70 AD and 690 AD lumped together. In actuality, the first fulfillment of this under Antiochus IV Epiphanes occurred at the same time. The statue of Jupiter Olympus was set up and the sacrifices stopped and the Temple made desolate all occurred simultaneously. Just a question, what happened on June 28, 1967?

This is an interesting topic. One important thing to take into consideration when calculating these years is to include the Jubilee years that were commanded by God. Many people overlook this. For instance many calculate the 69 weeks of Daniel as 493 years when in reality it is 500 years when the Jubilee years are added. Also, when God said, man's days shall be 120 years (cycles) it was on a Jubilee year. I think it's very possible if not probable that God meant 120 Jubilee years which comes to 6000 years which is the time man would suffer under the curse. There are multiple ways to confirm this strictly from Scripture. As I understand it the tribulation should begin around 2029 with Christ return around 2036. However, this is somewhat speculative because it is difficult to tie the Biblical calendar to the Gregorian calendar. We have to assume that the Scholars are correct about the date of the crucifixion. If they are then the numbers should be accurate if they are off the numbers will off as much. I have also seen circumstantial evidence from secular sources that suggests a 2030's time frame for the completion of all things.

I'd like to know when He actually 'left?'

Romans 8:10
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

2 Corinthians 3:3
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Some people just don't appreciate what they have, and are always looking somewhere else.

Every Christian who has ever lived had just the same as we do today. And everyone of them may have also frustrated themselves by living in the sweet bye and bye rather than 'in the now' that is YOUR LIFE.

You only have ONE LIFE. Don't waste it 'waiting' for a fairy tale.

There are many speculations, I have seen the trib beginning as early as 2014 or 2015. I don't know. The only way we will absolutely know for sure is this...

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Pretty sure this is 3-1/2 years aren't we? We derive that form other time lines...

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

And we still won't know the day and the hour at the beginning of the 3-1/2 years...

Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Now are the 3-1/2 days part of the 3-1/2 years? Or do they come at the end of 3-1/2 years? Making the entire tiem frame 3-1/2 years + 3-1/2 days? It is not clear. It will be clear only when they are killed and are laying in the streets of Jerusalem then you know you have 3-1/2 days.

Hi John,

I was looking at it from the 6000 years perspective. There are a number of places this is hinted at in the Scriptures. it works on the Biblical calendar but tying it to our calendar is the difficult part. Quite a few of the early Christian writers wrote on this subject saying that in 6000 year all thing would be completed. It is a very interesting study.

Here is a quote from Irenaeus who was a disciple of Polycarp, John's disciple.

John says further: “And he shall order an image of the beast to be made, and he shall give breath to the image, so that the image shall speak; and he shall cause those to be slain who will not adore it.” He says also: “And he will cause a mark [to be put] in the forehead and in the right hand, that no one may be able to buy or sell, unless he who has the mark of the name of the beast or the number of his name; and the number is six hundred and sixty-six,” that is, six times a hundred, six times ten, and six units. [He gives this] as a summing up of the whole of that apostasy which has taken place during six thousand years.

3. For in as many days as this world was made, in so many thousand years shall it be concluded. And for this reason the Scripture says: “Thus the heaven and the earth were finished, and all their adornment. And God brought to a conclusion upon the sixth day the works that He had made; and God rested upon the seventh day from all His works.” This is an account of the things formerly created, as also it is a prophecy of what is to come. For the day of the Lord is as a thousand years; and in six days created things were completed: it is evident, therefore, that they will come to an end at the sixth thousand year.

This was written after Jesus died. However, I suspect your alluding to Jesus statement that know one knows the day or the hour, correct? A closer look at that passage will reveal that what Jesus actually said was know one "has known". The Greek is in the prefect tense indicating a past action whose result continued until Jesus day. He said nothing about people knowing in the future. He said,

36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
38 "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
39 "and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
40 "Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
41 "Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
42 "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
43 "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
44 "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

(Mat 24:36-44 NKJ)

literally become ready, Jesus is telling them they don't know but that they need to become ready. Apparently the apostles did become ready and taught their disciples because Paul said, using the same thief metaphor that Jesus did,

KJV 1 Thessalonians 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

(1Th 5:1-5 KJV)

Paul had no need to write to the Thessalonians about the times as they knew.

Good post.

One other item that adds proof to the 7000 year plan.

John 2:1

Why would the Holy Spirit include “the third day†to John's account. I know of no special significance to the third day.

The third day from the time of Jesus would be in our time. I believe that the wedding of the Lamb takes place in the beginning of the millennium.
