Jesus said he was "A" god?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why did Jesus say he was "A" god. And why did he say that he was one among the many, selected to be special to Yahwah.

John 10
31Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"

33"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." ( Or "A" god.)

34Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'? 35If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God cameâ€â€and the Scripture cannot be broken 36what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'?
Psalm 82:6
"I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'
If a person can be "a" son of God, then there are many who are "a" god. And so Yahwah selected one out of the many to set apart as his own.

The people then and now think of gods as being immortal beings. Basically Yahwah is Elohiym, but at times people are called elohiyms. (gods of the living) Yahwah is God of the gods. He is the Elohiym. Yahwah is The Life of The Living.

Exodus 7:1
Then the LORD (Yahwah) said to Moses, "See, I have made you like God (Elohiym) to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

Exodus 7:16
Then say to him, 'The LORD (Yahwah), the God (Elohiym) of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the desert. But until now you have not listened.

Exodus 15:11
"Who among the gods is like you, O LORD (Yahwah) ? Who is like you majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?

Exodus 18:11
Now I know that the LORD (Yahwah) is greater than all other gods (elohiyms), for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly."

Yahwah means "Life Began." Yahshua means "Life Savour." Elohiym means "G-god-s of the Living." :amen

It simply means that you are a "son of man" (like Jesus was) and in you, you carry the Son of God (Christ) Like Jesus did too.

Jesus is now IN you. You are a walking tabernacle that carries God within you. That is you God-part.

In John 10 and Ps 82 Jesus is speaking about believers being gods. Not just Himself.

H430

'ĕlôhîym
el-o-heem'
Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: - angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

'êl
ale
Shortened from H352; strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity): - God (god), X goodly, X great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in “-el.â€Â

We are all suppose to be sons of God:

Psa 82:6 I said, Ye are gods, And all of you sons of the Most High.

Psa 82:7 Nevertheless ye shall die like men1Co 15:31 I protest by that glorifying in you, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

We are judged by God, because we are not doing what we are suppose to do:

Psa 82:2 How long will ye judge unjustly, And respect the persons of the wicked? Selah.
Psa 82:3 Judge the poor and fatherless: Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
Psa 82:4 Rescue the poor and needy: Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

Zec 7:9 Thus hath Jehovah of hosts spoken, saying, Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother;
Zec 7:10 and oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the sojourner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.
