God's Kingdom on Earth

Might be a good thing to define a few words. like sleep and die
What does the word die mean to you?

For me i means my body is done and my spirit is gone else where.

N2 Peter was crucified in our language he died. My Dad died we buried him. What do those words mean to you?

When we die physically, the flesh returns to the dust and the spirit returns to God who gave it.....The flesh that went back to the dust shall never be used again...

Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it."

I don't believe in soul sleep.......

My point about the 7th trump is,had it sounded we would now all be in our spiritual bodies, for at death or at the sounding, is the change, that's why Paul said we would not all sleep(die)...

Christ comes here,to this earth at the 7th trump,He shall be in spirit, so in order to see Him,we must be in spirit also.....

The soul does not sleep at death,it returns to the Father and those are they whom shall return with Him

I Thessalonians 4:14 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him."

It's so simple,if we die in Christ before the 7th trump Christ brings us back with Him.If we are still living at the 7th trump we shall be change as like those whom Christ brings with Him.

That's how we shall meet the Lord,in our spiritual bodies.....

I Corinthians 15:53 "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

Through this entire chapter Paul has brought to our attention that we have two bodies within each of us. We have our physical body, which is made up of flesh and blood, and we have our spiritual body which is called our soul. The flesh body will die at some point in time and the spiritual body or soul body that houses or spirit will live on after death.

Again if the flesh body does not die before the 7th trump,it shall be changed at that sounding....

Which brings me back to my original point, had the 7th trump sounded,we would not now be in flesh bodies and those that died prior to that would be here with us now,as they shall return with Christ........

We cannot and will not see Christ in our flesh bodies......

Oops, ...but no I was aware that Vivc C is the owner or CEO of the site. He responded to my post as well which is quite nice of a busy guy, and I thank him for that.
We do have a new thread up from Stormcrow, but this kingdom on earth is interesting too.

noble
LOL, I am neither. Yes, I am busy, but a decent question deserves a decent answer. It wasn't meant to steer the topic off course. :yes

so Vic C, in response to your #289 post:

Now there are more feasts to be fulfilled with the second coming.

Yom Teruah (Rosh HaShanah) / Feast of Trumpets
The Rapture; the last trump; wedding of the Messiah; New Moon; Open Door
Yom Kippur / Day of Atonement
Sukkot / Feast of Tabernacles (Booths)

A special season known as ‘Teshuvah’ which in Hebrew means “to return or repentâ€, begins on the first day of the month of Elul and continues 40 days, ending with Yom Kippur. Thirty days into Teshuvah, on Tishrei 1, comes Rosh HaShanah. This begins a final ten-day period beginning on Rosh HaShanah and ending on Yom Kippur. These are known as the High Holy Days and as the Awesome Days. The sabbath that falls within this ten-day period is called ‘Shabbat Shuvah’, the Sabbath of Return. Five days after Yom Kippur is ‘Sukkot’, the Feast of Tabernacles. Teshuvah begins on Elul 1 and concludes on Tishrei 10, Yom Kippur.
This so proves Preterism is true, except for the 1st sentence of course.

In Hebrews, "and He will appear a second time for those that are waiting for Him." (9:28)
And in Daniel 12 after the great tribulation on the Jews throughout the Roman Empire, culminating in Jerusalem.
The 1,290 days & the 45 days to the Feast of Tabernacles. "Blessed is he who waits and comes to the 1,335th day."

New heaven and earth- the New Covenant. "The tabernacle of God is with men." (Rev.21) This was to the Jews.

Here is an interesting Preterist (Note that Preterist Archives has adopted the foolish "hyperpreterist" label since its inception (when they used to not care about being orthodox & such)
