God's only right given to Adam and Eve

Everyone talks about our rights as if they are God given, like our right to health care. The only right God granted Adam and Eve just before he tossed them from the Garden of Eden was the right to a new set of clothes to cover their nakedness. Everything else is our individual responsibility.

God fulfills our right to cover our nakedness by placing plants and animals in every part of the globe and in every inhospitable environment so that man could cover his nakedness wherever he may roam. That is the only right God extends to mankind and anything else is man's individual responsibility.

It must be remembered that God gave Adam and Eve dominion over everything in this world including man himself. For man was created from the dust of the ground. God therefore gave man dominion over himself which means that we are all personally responsible for ourselves, not God.

Great thought expression! I am even harder about this. Presently, in the States, we have the Great Pretender occupying our White House who has divided our nation deeper than it has been since just after our Civil War, what a name for a war.

With the heavy importation of Hamaz, ISIS and other warring Arabs into our nation, WW III has moved into our homeland and with the Far Left Politico, Entertainment and Press the reporting is suppressed and our Police Officer's hands are tied because of phony "rights." God gave Adam the right to live forever or to die and we have no other rights.

The US is a strange place, as nations go, having been established by Englishmen reaching for Religious Freedom to become a worldly established right. Somewhere along the way we, as a nation, forgot that with our Religious Freedom came the Absolute Right To Be Offended and this Pretender in the Oval Office has endeavored to twist this into The Right To Never Be Offended... complete rubbish.

It would be nice to see the World grow up before my demise but the Bible faithfully assures me it will not, not even after the Christ rules for a thousand years.
 
If you want to be personally responsible for yourself, then you have no chance at the resurrection. None.

Your post reminds me of part of what I studied this morning from....
Genesis 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Boy is that ever true!!
 
Yes it is so true and those that refuse God will be so mad with themselves when the children of Ishmael cut their throats... very sad. It will be frightening for the Christian to step from here into Eternal Bliss but after it is done and we still live... what joy.

I'm with Sinthesis on this one.
You post about "rights" IMO, once I got saved, I gave up my rights except one....
John 1:11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (ESV)

Personally, I believe that I gave up my personal "rights" when I decided to do this....
Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

To present my body (body, soul & spirit) to my God (Elohim) as a living sacrifice, I need to forget about my "rights". I see "rights" as my desires. Generally, when someone says "I have a right" they are communicating out of a selfish motive IMO. Along with my right to become a child of God, it's His right over me because of this....
1Corinthians 6:19 "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

I feel that if there was anything that I did to earn my Salvation, I would have rights. Many Christians don't realize that they gave up their own personal rights to put on Jesus the Son of God, which cancelled my ownership of my body, soul and spirit, because my body and all that involves, to become the Temple of the Holy Spirit. I WAS BOUGHT WITH THE PRICE, Price? yep, the precious Blood of Jesus the Son of God.

2Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Personally, I'm glad that I don't have "rights" to enforce. As I submit and surrender my day and future to my Master Jesus, He's the One Who is responsible for my day and future. To surrender each morning to my Heavenly Father, Master Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, activates the ownership of my life and ministry to others, to God Amighty, Who is more that capable of obtaining glory from His posession, ME!

Thank you old friend Bill. I think I knew that you gave up your rights to obtain Salvation in your Great Savior and Teacher Jesus the Son of God. Why? Because of the very first post of yours that I studied and of what you have taught others. You have walked where Jesus has walked. You have taught what Jesus taught. You are, my Brother, an amazing man of God to rise above your suffering to be an Ambassador for God's only Son Jesus....I love You! :hug

I don't know so much about amazing, I just want to serve and to that end I try. Love you too, brother.
