I am glad 2020 finished, it wasn't good at all. Well this new year I am going to finally choose property for sale in Tuscany, Italy and get one with my wife. We've been dreaming about moving there for a while. We adore Italy and I always feel inspired there.

Are you aware of how difficult it is to build a house here?

Are you aware of how difficult it is to build a house here?

I like the fact that this are is really green and quiet. I am looking in Grossetto province. Do you recommend any other area which is as nice?

I see you're from England so you might be familiar with the area.
All of Tuscany is beautiful...but, of course, I like where I live!
I like the area around Florence - Pisa and further up into the Apuane Mountains.
I like the mountains a lot and the scenery is breathtaking at times.
I like the small hill towns and the nearness to the big centers.
We're near to the Versilia and Liguria-
It's very different, however, from the Grosseto area.
Check everything out well. I find that many make mistakes the first time around
thinking that when they live here it'll be the same as being on vacation.
Also, I'd choose to buy a house that's already built - it's difficult enough if one lives here.
I can't even imagine trying to build from far away--which I did try BTW. Nothing got done
till I moved here even though we had an engineer to follow the work.
