Alright, I was listening to Disciple about a month ago. I really like this song, "rise up." But, I had been wondering why they use so less bible verses lately. I have not heard southern hospitality, but the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "They are going south." I under stand this as meaning going off, getting mad, but recently I understand that it means reprobate. I have seen on their new album a song called, "phoenix rising." I have had a weird feeling about this phoenix that Christian bands sing about. I had to get away from, "Kids in the way,"because they do not seem to be in the Way. Anyhow, it is the morning star that is to rise up in our hearts. I know this is not popular to say, but I am warning some that there is something not so Godly rising up. The morning star is Jesus Christ, but this phoenix is something else. I think it is profane fire. I love listening to old disciple, but I have had to let it go. When in doubt throw it out. Jesus Christ must be first in my life.
Hebrews 3:12-13
12. Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;
13. but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
