Isaiah 43:1-2 But now thus saith the LORD That created the, O Jacob, and He That formed thee, O Israel, "Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

  • Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

Satan, the serpent, does now and will cast a flood of lies (out of his mouth), after the woman in order to drown us in deception. But, not all will go under. If one is drowned in his deception then, one will feel His wrath in the fire and we are told there will be many, which includes Christians.

Some have been "called by name." They/we are His! They, as the others, will go through the flood but it "shall not overflow thee." They will also walk through the fire (which shows there is no pre-trib rapture) but, as our example of the three Hebrew children showed us....He will be with us and we "shalt not be burned."

Ww,

The waters are the waters of afflictions.

Bread is baked with fire. It is the bread of adversity.

In the sanctuary service, the washing of water was between the altar and the 1st apartment.

In the 1st apartment the table of shewbread and the 7 branched candlestick were positioned adversly. The fiery trials turns the dough into a stable form that will not spoil.

Isa 30:20
20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: KJV

I agree Joe. The waters Satan tries to drown the woman in are affliction. That affliction comes from his mouth. Meaning, what he speaks. Deception. And yes, God allows it to test His children.
