I'm about to do a cross-cultural mission trip to East Asia. Can anyone recommend a short, simple 'Introduction to Christianity' style book I can get to give to seekers while I'm there?
I've looked through some blogs and a lot of people recommend 'Mere Christianity'. Now there are reasons why I like C.S. Lewis, but that book is too long and complex for someone who doesn't necessarily speak good English, and it assumes prior knowledge of 'cultural' Christianity that they won't have in East Asia.
If it helps, I'd also like to point out for you avid readers of Christian books that the stuff I most jibe with tends to be from people like John Piper and R. C. Sproul and J. I. Packer and John Stott and J. C. Ryle. I'd love an introduction that affirms the same view of Christianity as these guys, but any suggestions are welcome. :nod
