Praise Him in good times and in bad, no doubt. Having said that...

He's willed some good things to come to pass lately, and I"m thankful. Its interesting...when I was diagnosed as "severely narcissistic" (NPD) and all that and "professionals" unleashed all this cruelty onto me, they called it "humbling experiences." In reality...they saw a middle class loser who wasn't giving them $$$ and couldn't fight back. blah. point is...

now, I feel actually, really, truly, genuinely humbled by The Lord's work in my life. Not that I'm Mr.Humility, just...I'm not oozing pride and self-love, blah blah blah. Oh, and...His work in my life -started- with providing enough humility and clarity for me to get saved, in that moment. nearly 6 years later, I see how He (re)shapes His children...not just in my life, but in the lives of other Christians I've come to know, here and there, and...

God is good!

things are going surprisingly well, especially considering what came before. and...I am thankful, far more genuinely thankful than I think I've ever been in my entire life. I just...cannot tell you how good it is to be a member of my family again, to have a light in my eyes, to be healthy...and everything else...

as Lisa pointed out, its because of Jesus. BIG THING: forgiveness, being washed+made clean. I do believe in miracles, I do believe God does supernatural "stuff" that may or may not meet the definition of a miracle...

but God made Flesh is The Big Miracle of Christianity, I think...that and His death and resurrection. I just happened to bring an extra heaping of grit and grime to The Cross, so I'm thankful to be cleaned up, washed+made clean, etc...in this lifetime, even.
