I read their contract with goolge was up and they signed with yahoo instead of signing another with googleWhat do you mean by change it? Generally when someone uses one or the other it is their search engine option in their browser, which would be in your internet settings.
Ok, then that's good. The change is easy. Notice next to your address bar you have a search area with the little magnifying glass. If you place your cursor BETWEEN the magnifying glass and the word "search" a little arrow shows up. Click on it and you will get a simple box that says "change search settings". Click on that and a "firefox preferences" box comes up. Near the top is "default search engines" up-down button you can hit, and it will list them all. Simply click on the one you want. Also, if you notice at the bottom there's a place you can add search engines as well. I added and like to use startpage.com since that does not record IP addresses and otherwise mess with your privacy like the other do.
Tim thanks. I am not seeing what you see I guess.
at top left of my screen is a blue spiral square with 3 dots around a circle it is the "search computer" button. below that is calculator. if i get between the top icon abd the red "x" i get a pop up that says search when i click it open backup.
sorry for the confusion. I was thinking I should dwn load yahoo first then remove chromium/google.
