As a Roman Catholic, there's something really interesting to me about Orthodox liturgy and place of worship. Almost, but not quite the same. What I admire most about them is that they maintain a sense of the sacred in God.

The way I see it, is that the things that unite us in Him are more important than the differences we might have.

I was brought taught by Roman Catholic schools.
What unites us is love and life for the Truth, any differences is naturally untrue and unreal. So, the only question we need to worry about (personally) is how much Truth is really in us.

Have you read much of St. Francis of Assisi? Much of what you've posted here, sounds like his approach to God.
