My name is Mario and I live in central New York state.
I was born/raised Catholic (Spanish and Irish family) and in HS began to explore theology on my own, becoming a bit of an atheist until my early 20s.
9/11 caused me to explore God again and I turned to Christ.
I was married in 2002, my wife's family having (years ago) been members of the Worldwide Church of God.
In 2005, we left Alaska after living there for 8 years, to join my disabled parents in NY.
In June of 2006, we were both baptized at a Church of Christ. We are currently seeking a new church that fits our beliefs better.
My username "Matamoros" comes from Spain's patron saint, Santiago Matamoros, aka "Saint James the Moor-killer". Appropriate for these times.
