Greetings! It's 3 AM where I am right now, and I'm in a spontaneous mood and decided to join this forum to get some answers about the Christian faith. I was a Christian when I was younger, but I would now consider myself a recovering agnostic. Loosing your faith is a very big deal indeed - like loosing someone you know very well. I have had to get to know myself again after loosing my faith, but I am much happier now.

There are some nagging questions left over from my days as a Christian which I would like to have answered before I leave the religion behind me altogether, and I'm sure you guys will be kind enough to help me out :)

I guess my most defining features are my lust for life and my love for physics. I have this constantly warm feeling that I get from really loving my life that I never had during my Christian years, and after discovering my love for physics I feel as if I have purpose as well. After I finish my current studies I intend to go to university and speaclise in nuclear physics, and hopefully do something meaningful with my life!

Glad to meet you all!
