I am not a Christian, however, I joined this forum to better understand the religion. Being from rural Kansas, I would like to have a better understanding of the people around me who are predominantly Christian. I attended a Catholic school as a child, so I understand the religion on a broad, impersonal level, but I would like to hear more from a personal level. Like why does one adhere to the religion? How does doing so affect them?
