:waving Hello. As you may see by my screen name, I am Joseph. I live in New England and was born and raised a Catholic. I love the sacramental life of the Church and its tradition of prayer (Liturgy of the Hours, etc.). Over the last few years I have also attended my wife's congregational church (part of thre CCCC). The active ministries (esp. the youth ministries) and great felowship in that church have brought me to a religious crisis. Now that I have children, I have started to feel that this congregational church is a better choice to raise my children in.

:waving I am 38 years old and have studied Christian history for many years. I never thought I'd leave the Catholic Church, but it really seems that no Christian denonimation can really claim a direct line to the 1st century Christian church. Especialy, since there really wasn't an organized church back then. All groups, including the Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant chuches began and evolved according to geographic and political considerations. The decision I am now trying to make is what will help my family in learning about and keeping the proper teaching of God, through his son Jesus Christ.

I stumbled across this site. It seems like on of the best ones. There many Christian forums out there, but many are very unChristian in how some are treated during discussions.

Thank you both. It is also good to see that this forum uses Tapatalk. Now I have another reason to keep my smartphone glued to my hand.
