Greetings!

A little bit about me. I rambled through life without direction, responsibility or intention until I was almost 41, and was confronted with the total waste my life had been to that point. A divorce, loss of a good job and loss of friends because I was a compulsive gambling addict led to this revelation, which was, in fact, long overdue.

I became intentional, seeking guidance from others, which led me to church, which led me to Christ, on March 3, 1993. Shortly afterwards, the debt and desperation led me to commit forgery in order to pay off the debt. Well, that was a particularly unbrilliant decision, and it led me to prison. I got out, tried to function normally, and failed again, returning to prison. Now I'm out, with an addictions counseling certification, working at a treatment center/transitional housing program with other ex-felons and also combat vets. The work is fantastically gratifying and right where I need to be.

I've got two grown kids, both follow Christ and serve Him. No grandkids yet. I can wait. I'd like to see them with their feet solidly on the ground with money put away before they decide to become one flesh with someone -- but they probably won't listen to me. :lol

God bless, everyone, thanks for dropping by and hope to see you on the boards.

Welcome to CFnet, thisnumbersdisconnected :wave

You have quite the testimony ... we all are sinners, and yet, our Lord loves us dearly & knows our worth. Plus, He never ceases in desire to have a genuine, heart-felt relationship with us. Amazing grace, indeed!

Happy to hear you're enjoying your life now. That in itself is a blessing in this lifetime. :yes

Just wait until you have grandchildren....you can teach them all about our Lord..........& about the Royals :clap
