Halloween... Christian or secular... is it evil ?

My view is that today's holiday as it's celebrated has little meaningful connection to the past. I don't have any problem trick or treating, watching scary movies, giving out candy, etc. But I have little motivation to do them since I never did growing up and I still live with my family who still is against it. It's a nice excuse to wear my anime cosplay and maybe visit community events.
I wouldn't say it is all about candy and costuming of little ones. Many pagans celebrate Samhain, aka Halloween. And not as a Satanic worship I would add just to avoid that being inferred being they are pagan.

Where I came from, people start knockin on my door dressed as witches I shoot...........

Only kiddin' :lol

I'm not a big fan of anything that endorses this dressing up as witches, ghosts etc, however for kids its good fun. I don't get teenagers and adults doing it, that's just strange.
