Reach had some important role, I think it was the first place attacked, but I don't know.

It would've been so much better if they followed up on Halo 3's cliffhanger though,

It is not part of the Halo video games series. Just as Halo Wars and Halo Recon is not. When I say series I mean games with Master Chief

I have the game and it has been alot of fun so far. the multi-player is super deep with alot of options to choose from. the story seems fun although I am only part way into it and Firefight mode is awesome too!

Halo 4 coming out next year, the beginning of a new trilogy. Looking forward to seeing how the new studio treats the series.

To be fair, halo wars is the most honest version for Bungies original intention. That was the game intended to be made before Microsoft bought them out.
