I like Thanksgiving because its all about the things I love the best; Counting my blessings from God and having opportunity to praise and thank Him all over again for them; My dear husband and my two great kids; my extended family; good food; good fellowship; and even football, which I've come to love now that I'm married, (why become a football widow, if one can be a football fan?)
I'm also putting this board and y'all on my "Thanks" list this year. Over the time I've been here, I've been challenged in many ways in my walk with God. Y'all have spurred me on to delve even deeper into God's Holy Word, and I'm thankful for that, as well as the many times y'all have uplifted me in prayer over this past year. I feel that I have made some true friends on this board, and look forward to the time when we can meet face to face, "here, there or in the air".
So, I'm signing off for now in order to finish cleaning the house and get the pumpkin pies in the oven. Over the next couple of days I will be eating, doing dishes and watching football with my husband and in-laws. Of special interest is the game between Boise State and Hawaii Friday night, not because I have any doubts of our Bronco's ability to "kick pineapple" but because representatives from the Sugar, Orange and Fiesta Bowls will be watching and possibly getting our guys into another BCS bowl game this year. So, hopefully Coach Pete and the boys will be able to impress the big dogs once again.
