Has Carnal Corrupted our Religions

Destructiveness of Manmade Religion

I do not write this as rebuttal to any argument. This is me vetting a conversation with myself.

Where do our wars, factionalism, and arguments come from (Jam 4:1). Are we not carnal if the results are strife and division (1 Cor 3:1-7) among brothers? Is it not true that knowledge puffs up and carnal knowledge shows itself in pride and arrogance? Yahweh is asking for meek and humble servants, who can wipe the dust off their feet and leave strife and foolish ramblings. (1 Cor 8:1; Col 2:18; 1 Tim 3:6).

Religion has always been the greatest enemy of man. I am referring to manmade attempts to reach a god, this includes Yahweh also (John 10: 1-6; Matt 22:11, 12; John 14:5, 6; Matt 15:1-20). Yahweh reached man because man was incapable of reaching Him. Every large religious body has done the following to different degrees.

1.Made errors in their religious faith by creating carnal doctrines that establish creditability and legitimacy for believers. (Matt 15:3)

2.Allowed the mindset and lifestyle of the secular world to come into their religious centers and chameleon themselves (Gal 2:4)

3.Have strayed from the foundation set for them by the founders of their religious orders (Gal 3:1-4

4.Have tried to fuse their religious order with the secular in an effort to combine their culture, politics, and institutions (2 Cor 6:14-18)

5.Established a form of works that justify them before Yahweh as deserving of His goodness and rewards (Gal 2:15, 16)

6.Allow the doctrines of demons to infiltrate their religious (doctrines of sensuality, hedonism, prosperity, supremacy, and elitism) (1 Tim 4:1, 2; 1 Tim 6:1-10)

7.Cast shame upon Yahweh because of their actions. (1 Tim3:7)

8.I will stop here, and not give the top ten (LOL)

Evidence to prove my vantage point- "Are we not carnal" . Why are there so many sects within each religious order? Christians have hundreds of denominations that are not on one accord. Islam had at least four main sects that strive against one another with tenacity. Judaism is segmented and without unity. What is wrong with this picture? This is not new. Even at the time of Yeshua, there were Pharisees, Sadducees, and Essenes striving against one another over who was right and who was of Yahweh. Jesus answer to all of them was neither was right or of Yahweh. That sat in the seat of Moses, but they were leading the people into destruction as the blind leading the blind.

How can this be among people who claim to know and love God. No one can convince me that all this confusion is of Yahweh. There is no power of God in any of these religions or movements. How can Yahweh approve of this confusion when He is not the author of confusion. Why is our hearts so hard and our neck so stiff. Where is the escape and rescue from all of this mess, confusion, and guile?

Here is the escape as it was for the woman who debated with Yeshau (John 4: 7-54). She hated Jews and challenge Yeshua to a debate. Eventually, the truth penetrated her heart, challenged her identity and melted the assumptions of her mind. She reasoned within herself, questioned her cultural convictions, examined herself to see if she was of the faith 2 Cor 13:5, 6, and then determined if Yeshau was qualified. Her actions lead to an one woman evangelist movement and the salvation of a great many of her countrymen.
There has to be Spirit involvement when we are seeking truth (John 8:32; John 16:13). To do otherwise, leads to carnality and the continuation of the mess caused by manmade religions.

I have a question: When you read the Bible, and decide what it is saying, are you not coming up with man made teachings? After all, you are a man, right? And you are figuring out what it says, right? How can you absolutely say that your reading are not man-made ideas, while others may actually be true?

There is only one true religion, everything else is carnal but that's a discussion for another time.

Now to answer your question, it is possible to interpret the scriptures wrong but when the scriptures contradict one another that's when you know your ideas are man made and not inspired by God. The Bible is a special book, the only book for that matter inspired by God and not man so figuring out whether an idea for the Bible is man made or inspired by God should not be too hard with proper spiritual training.

The ultimate answer to your question is true, but think about the implications.
But doctrinal divides started as early as just after the day of Pentecost. In one sense, it ensures that the body of Christ doesn't fall under a totalitarian rule, as history proves, creates things like the catholic church, the Mormon church, etc..

A true unity will only be achieved when Christ comes back and ushers in His kingdom, for then there will be no arguments or divisions.

Just my 2 cents.
