Yeah, mental health doesn't have to mean "crazy, institution worthy". There are mild bodily injuries or illnesses that don't necessarily warrant hospital or medicinal treatment, I assume this would be the case with mental health as well.

If you read about the early days of medicinal practice, they did some pretty scary and harmful stuff then too. They were still learning, it took a while to get what we have now.
