Have you ever been on a judgmental high horse?

Yes, and I have also experienced God knocking me right off...and none too gently at times. When I was a very young believer, I was so arrogant and judgemental all the time. I hate to think of it. Anyway, God allowed a devastating affliction to come into my life that He used to chastise me severly and humble me greatly. It taught me compassion and mercy...my trials just keep building love and compassion in me, and I am thankful because I still have a long way to go. The Lord bless you.
 
Of course I have been on that horse, and like lovely I've been knocked off it a few times.

Our secular society and culture have influenced the church to be tolerant of just about anything that slides down the pike, so I don't always agree with what is called "judgmentalism" either.

Destiny, I came in here to say something similar to this, and when I saw your name I just knew you had already said it. You are rubbing off on me. :D
 
Oh yes. I've found myself to be quite arrogant at times, actually.
But I'm always ready to admit I'm wrong, and I think I usually realize when I'm wrong.
And I rarely get involved with other peoples' business unless they put me in it, so when I'm judgemental it's usually only an inward judgementality.

Haha! I'm not sure what to say about that, lovely. I guess we could be a fire and ice type of combination. LOL
 
:oops There have been likely numerous times that I have positioned myself in such a place. Guess that is one of many reasons to be glad we have such a loving God. He knows how to tactfully and skillfully knock us down only to show us the error of our ways. No better educator than the divine creator Himself, no?

Yes, when I was young and foolish and didn't know any better. By the way, I haven't been in here for nearly 18 months and can't remember why. I know I've lost some Web site addresses, and some I left some various reasons. Anyway, I'm back for now.
