Not necessarilly. The fact that this is a "Christian" forum is irrelevant because the same can be applied for a non-Christian forum. I have read a lot of information here at the forums that many would not feel comfortable sharing in person. Some feel comfortable sharing this kind of stuff online and some do not. If you are one of the ones who do not, then perhaps you should just stay out of the discussion. :yes

P.S. The "bent over backawards" phrase is a figure of speech. It has nothing to do with the rear end of the human body.

This is actually a great topic.. I have, and I realized that I need to find that balance..
It's like, in doing it.. I was trying to have a servant's heart, but also.. being a Christian doesn't mean that people can just walk all over you..

so I am trying to find that balance of being helpful, having a "servant's heart" but at the same time not let people take advantage of me..

Im nice..all the time.. its draining and sometimes I feel like I'm too nice

Yes and I usually ending up hating myself for it. I use to be too nice and I got on my own nerves after a while. While i am kind and compassionate I at the same time choose not to be a walking door mat. I try not to get angry unless it's in a righteous form. I even sometime would say yes when I really meant no just so that person would stop annoying me. Now i try to find a balance and even though we are suppose to help people there are some people that when you help them can actually come between you and God. God calls us to do things and while we are suppose to help others if he calls you to do something I feel it is good to stay focused on what he wants you to do.
