He knew the guy was standing behind him. He just did not care. And if he doesn't care then the NBA should not care about his explanation or career.

I wish he would be kicked out of the league...but he won't be. What did he get, 7 games? Unfortunately, there's a lot of tolerance for this kind of violence. When there's a lot of money involved, a lot will be overlooked.
