Healing

Real healing. Not the Benny Hinn kind.
Not the "I've read the Bible so I'm fully healed" kind either.
Until we are fully healed of our wounds, psychological and emotional, we live in some fear and trepidation.
Faith I hear you say. Yes I grant can help you. But don't get a big head about your awesome amount of faith. You may be partly deluded.
Music heals me recently. Maybe God can work through secular artists like Sting. I heard a beautiful jazz version of Roxanne yesterday. It slowed my racing thoughts down. I calmed down. Do you need to calm down? Am I the only one who frets about everything?
We need healing. I need healing. Then I can heal others. We heal others by visiting other peoples' universe. Their psychic wounds. Their concerns. I can do it. I need to do it more. And maybe we heal ourselves by trying to heal others. Maybe. Not sure. Depends how we approach it.

There is a lot of frankly nonsense talked about healing.
The biggest is that God wants us to be healed.

God's purpose for us here is not to be physically perfect, married to a perfect spouse with 2. 5 perfect children, living in a perfect world.

God's purpose for us is to know him, for us to be in a relationship with him.

He may miraculously heal he equally may not and we have no right to complai.

Our physical, mental and spiritual health depends on how we live and on our relationship with God.

By that we may have cancer, athlete's foot, diabetics etc etc etc and we have to live with it, dependent upon God for the grace and strength to get through each minute.
We cannot demand to be healed as our vital healing was of the broken relationship with God.

We have gone from his enemy to being his child.

What greater healing can there be?
