Do i have this right. When everything is over God is going to turn all the water into land right. So that means will be free to go as we please and live where we want to right?

If we dont sleep or anything what do we do in heaven do we just praise the Lord, even though theres nothing wrong with that at all. What im getting to do we have some freedom of our on.Can we go where we want to.I know this is silly. But im a artist and heaven is perferct right so would i be able to draw

I expect you will be able to do all the creating you like in heaven.

I don't. The Bible teaches That god is going to create a new Heaven and a new earth, not a water void planet. As for being able to create all we want, would that not make us God?

I think she is referring to the fact that the Bible says there will be no more sea.

This is what I thought.

it is only an opinion, but I do not believe that the "Sea" in Rev 21:1 is referring to the oceans.

We notice that John is speaking concerning the Heavenly City.

In the Tabernacle of Moses, and later in the temples in Jerusalem there was a thing called a "Sea",
1Ki 7:24 And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
1Ki 7:25 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.

This "Sea" was a place for purification. In the Holy City no such "Sea" would be necessary as all will be pure before they enter.

Hi there!

Rev 21:
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Rev 22:
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Re 22:3
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

some points to ponder....

I believe in a literal translation of the Bible, and if you take a literal interpretation of the Bible, then there will be the realization that there are some people who are not in glorified bodies, for there are some believers which the Bible never tells us, who don't receive the first resurrection. Those people are in flesh and blood bodies and cannot live in heaven, but they may live "outside the gates" and have the rights to the tree of life and be able to enter the gates.

Second, the last chapter of Revelation tells us that there are "servants" in heaven. If it were "angels only" serving God, then I believe it would say "and his angels shall serve him" I think God still has a job for everyone to do when they get to heaven. Remember, retirement isn't in the Bible.

Your service to God in heaven may be your offerings of tapestries done to the Glory of God.

That's a great picture, BTW.. and I am going to that link to read about it.

Here is a scripture, you can start drawing now ----

The River and the Tree of Life -- in Heaven
  • Revelation 22:1-2

1 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal,
coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb
, 2 in the middle of
its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve
    kinds of fruit
, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree
were for the healing of the nations.

    NASU. w/emphasis supplied
As far as what heaven really is like -- I believe we live in a cocoon, and in
leaving this world the cocoon is shed and we become the beautiful butterfly.
In this cocoon we do not understand what a butterfly will be like, or what it
will be able to do. We can only imagine.

I dont know for sure, but I think that you would be able to do whatever you want in Heaven. You cant sin in heaven, so how could you do anything that God would displease of? As far as drawing goes-God gave you that talent and love for drawing and creating, just like he gave me the talent and love for writing. I believe that he gave us these talents and interests in order to use them to give him glory. Why would it be different in heaven? The Bible says that we will be praising God, so why can't we do it by using the talents that he gave us? I also beleive that he wants us to be happy and so why would God have a problem with doing something that makes us happy, so long as you aren't sinning (which I mentioned earlier that it is impossible to sin in heaven) Obviously this is just a theory because we wont know for sure until we get there.
Hope it helps!

Heaven is paradise right... well would Paradise FOR YOU being not able to draw? Answer that and there is your answer!
