Hurricane ?!

People in my general region are getting hit hard…harder than has happened in decades in part because there was already a cold front and then the storm developed and..

So it’s beginning to look ? like a potential disaster for some people and not just those who will have to deal with the direct impact.

I pray for those affected especially those who are more vulnerable. I also pray ? for the people who are already setting up shelters and trying to keep the power going etc.

It's quite sad for those who passed away in the storm. Better preparation is needed to avoid this as this storm was predicted days in advance and can only hope those that live there will recover.

Power is still out. Ugh ?

The mountains got hit worse. 16 fatalities in my general area. Some were from trees falling on homes, killing people inside. Eek ?

The power company will estimate a time to restore power…eventually. I dunno ?‍ my small city is better off than many of the small towns in the area. I even got a full tank of gas ️ today. Very exciting.

Road ragers continue to…rage, on the road. One dude was behind me today…tailing and flashing his bright lights. It was awesome lol ?

I’m praying ? for a speedy cleanup and for things to go back to normal in the affected areas. And…

I’m actually affected by the fatalities in an emotional way. Not intense or anything just…

Wow ? life is often cruel. I started to think about it and the only real hope is truly in Jesus Christ.

The destruction is phenomenal. It’s one of those things…

Trees on houses trees in cars roads blocked off people about to get in fistfights at the gas station ️ because of limited supply and short tempers…

Ugh ? God is Good. People? Well…we all need Jesus…

Hope everyone is safe in those areas. Indiana got a lot of rain, but have friends from the south. A lot are reporting fine thankfully.

I appreciate your prayers. My parents and I seem to have come out of this ok but…

Oh man ?‍ the destruction is bad enough just in my area and it’s far worse in other not so far away places.


My parents got their power back today! So thankful ?.

It’s…part of growing in Christ I think that I have more of a basic understanding of what others go through…even people I don’t know and whom I find obnoxious…

Vs just a never ending me me me cycle ?. God is Good ?

One of my parents neighbors is already going through it and now there are huge old trees ? on the house ?. Ugh ?

I’m glad I live here and not in a little house ?. It wasn’t fun ? waiting for the power to be restored etc but my responsibilities are fairly minimal. Pay the HOA fee life goes on. Owning a house ?? You’re responsible for everything!

I had a fun talk with a new ish neighbor. I texted her when the power was back on and it was such a small thing but I felt less like an alien ? and more like a human being and member of society. Plus it took no time on my end but seemed to help her and her husband so…awesome.
