What's going on all? The other night i was sitting in bed stressing over the lethargic Christian life I'm leading. Frankly I'd be surprised if anyone even knows I am a Christian.
I'm 36, divorced, and a father of one. I live in Tampa, Fl, work from home and have maybe two of three friends and limited family. I don't go to church. I don't own a Bible.
I'm a believer. I've accepted Christ but I go months (have gone years) without praying.
I try to live my life by Christian principles but it's become easier to overcome my internal objections recently.

I want to get right. I want to be an example. I'm tired of this empty, worthless feeling.

I'm here to hang out and talk and take in some good information and try to get myself back on track.

Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to the site Chris. I hope we can be the source of restoration God uses in your life. You can be sure we'll help all we can.

Hi Chris and welcome to our little nook on the web :D

Hey, I'm not sure if you like to listen to audio, or read the written word, but... :D If you want to listen to the Bible, you can download the New Testament at:
http://www.faithcomesbyhearing.com/free ... e-download

I downloaded the NIV Dramatized version and over all, for free it's pretty well done. Of course, you don't have to get it dramatized if it's not your flavor

Also, there are many free online bibles and Bibles that you can download to your pc as well. Personally, I like http://Bible.org and their Net Bible as it has side by side comparison. ( http://net.bible.org/bible.php#n22 ) You can even download the NetBible for your own pc, but it doesn't come with the side by side comparison.

Another great free bible program that you can download that I've used is e-sword, and it even has some commentary and a search function along with maps etc. :D

Check em out

Glad to have you here cringo! Like my signature says, Christianity is difficult; it was never meant to be easy. It seems to be human nature to take the easiest route. We've all been there at one point or another and hopefully you can find what you need here.
