Hi, my name is Andrew, I've been looking for a god non cluttered over sub-forumed Christian forum, and stumbled upon this one which i really like,except for the empty space above every new page? does anyone else see that?
Anyways, I'm a strong minded,strong hearted, strong souled person who finds it better for myself to reaserch things myself at home, discuss things with myself(lol) and other open minded anti-religion, pro bible Christians, rather than trying to find a church that im going to agree with 100%,or change my thoughts in order to not be offended at someone elses lies. Sounds harsh, but when I say non religious, I mean non denominational. I follow God, not a man with a set of prayers. I'm not much of a people person, in fact I'm one of the few people I know who enjoys being alone. That kind of makes witnessing hard for me, but I'm strong enough to stand up if I hear someone say somthing wrong (that never worked well in Sunday school) I've found I can learn everything God wants me to learn on my comfy couch by myself,rather than just what someone else wants me to learn in an uncomfortable pew around noisy people (snores, finger nail clippers, chatter and note passing).
I used to really like the church I attended (1st Baptist), but over about 12 years, I watched it change. especially after they went into millions of $$$ debt for a new building, thats when it really started going downhill. My parents still attened that church, and take my children nearly weekly. My fiance attends a small Missionary Baptist church, I really like it, except they try to get you question wether or not you are truly saved or not a little too hard,but still say its only between you and God. (guess they are a little fed up with churches who preach 'say this prayer and you are saved')
Anyways, I hope to stick around for a while on here, if i dont get ran off first. I'm pretty straight forward when it comes to the internet (sorry if I hurt anyones e-feelings) and I problly dont take typing on a free web forum as seriously as I should, but hey, I'm pretty modest in real life, I gotta cut loose somewhere!
