It's always good to start out on a common courtesy, so I thought it prudent that I begin by introducing myself. I am an ex-Christian, I now consider myself an atheist. I was raised in a very Christian home and the conclusions I've drawn regarding religion have come out of my own curiosity about the world. I wouldn't enforce atheism at all, it's simply my own view taken from the evidence that I sought out myself. I'm open to new information, and while I doubt very much whether any religion could alter my current beliefs (or lack there of), I relish the opportunity to hear how people from different walks of life have come to the conclusions they now hold dear. I should also state that it is neither my mission, nor my position to change any persons mind about their current religion. My aim is to discuss, not convince.
