I have been a born again believer since July of 2011, and like to know what other Christians, both long in the faith and new in the faith, how they are dealing with their Christian walk. That is why I have joined here, and hope to learn from others.

Hi Rp17 and welcome to CF.net. Your question tends to make me think you've faced obstacles possibly contrary to what you have been told you would experience; there is a multitude of prosperity preaching available, but our Lord keeps us when we are in the fire, or thrown into a lion's den.

1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
