I live in Michigan now, but I pretty much grew up in Spokane, and am pretty familiar with the rest of the state!

Ahh yes! First and Pike! Used to get fresh Halibut for under 5 bucks a pound!
I used to love riding the ferries too. Not sure why, but I always enjoyed them.
I used to work at Alaska Copper and Brass building vessel.
The only think I didn't like about Seattle was all the rain.. One thing I really miss though is the mountains.

:-D Its still beautiful, the ferries still run the mountains are still gorgeous, but the price of fresh halibut has changed

Too bad on the price of Halibut. Man, nothing tastier than a halibut steak wrapped in tin foil with butter, garlic and som tomatoe baked for about 30 minutes! Umm um!
Hey, it's been at least 12-15 years since I've been to Seattle. Is the Prison ministry still active across from the market? One used to be able to go in and purchase merchendise from the inmates. As I recall, there were a few very talented artists.
