so i thought i would check the place out

okay, there have been some technical difficulties and i am wondering how one gets approved to post on other forums as this one was posted right away and there is no place to submit a post for approval to meet the requirement listed.

I believe in certain forums you just need to request permission from the moderator, as they're specific topics (such as Science) that do better with a smaller group of posters than a general forum where a chain of discussion can be easily hijacked.
