Hello! Glad you're here! Your mention of being "empty" struck a note with me. I think a lot of people get disillusioned with the standard religious experience they find in their local church, and/or they suffer some fairly traumatic events. I dealt with both.

Learning to separate God and faith from religion was very freeing for me. I had to connect with God and Jesus on a very personal level and now I am able to bring my renewed faith back to my church and begin to affect the church and do what I can to have it become a true house of God.

What are the main issues that are troubling you? Why do you feel you're "empty?"
