Hello

:wave Hi, I am new here. I am an open minded, non denominational Christian. I sometimes find Christianity questionable, but I feel that it is the path that God wants me on. Unfortunately. I can't say that in any of the spiritual forums, because the world is turning against Christianity. That is partially why I cling to it, because I feel that evil is growing in the world, and since it is turning against Christianity, it's probably a good indicator that Christianity has some truth to it. However, I don't view Jesus as God himself, but as a brother whom I must follow, and that salvation lies in both faith and good deeds.

Hi AprilKoontz and welcome to CF.net. Hopefully you may learn of those things needed, and grow in grace in grace and knowledge of our Lord. May you be blessed here in fellowship with us in Jesus' name.

Hi April, good to see you here; God bless His Word to you.

At this Christmas time, Christians remember the One Who is the Word who 'became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth' (John 1.14). 'No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him' (John 1.18).

'God of God,
Light of light,
Lo, He abhors not the virgin's womb,
Verily God,
Begotten, not created,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ, the Lord!'

I hope that the time you spend on these forums will be helpful to you and a blessing to you as you think about the Lord Jesus, the 'Way, the truth and the Life' (John 14.6), who came down to be the Savior of sinners such as ourselves, and to die at the Cross for them to redeem them to Himself.

May the Christmas message bless you.

Hi, April, and welcome to CFnet :wave Hope you enjoy your time with us.

You'll discover in your walk with our Lord that you will have a lot of questions ... quite understandably so. It's all part of the learning/growing process in comprehending and then living the directives presented throughout the Bible. Becoming a mature Christian is a beautiful albeit challenging (at times) way to live this life!

Welcome April!

Matthew 6 do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, [4] so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
