Hello everyone! I'm very happy to be joining a forum like this one and am looking forward to getting to know you all.

I'm Christena and I've just turned 20. It's a scary time in life to be sure, but I'm so thankful that God is there to help us. (Sort of a mixed excitement thing about moving on in life? Ugh..) What I'm hoping is that by joining this forum is I can talk openly and honestly with people about faith in the Lord outside of my church family. I think that by doing this online first I'll be braver when it comes to such things once I head off to collage.

There's a lot of people with a lot of varied ideas so it's a good place to test your faith, test your ideas by asking others what they think, and to read and read more, learning to compare what you read to God's word as you go. And all done in the safety of that comfortable chair by your keyboard! You'll enjoy it!

No matter the environment; one ought not assume pure honesty.
But, I think you'll like the forthrightness of people on the forums.
I don't know how much on line email/etc. you have done in the past -- but I'd suggest reading twice before assuming a certain tone of voice is actually present in someone else's message.
We can't actually hear each other -- so the silly emoticons are actually really important.
